SHELBY has no limitations.
This model is called SHELBY.
Originally designed and built by Guenther Homes - a local family owned company that has been building world renowned homes in Ann Arbor since 1946.
Arbor Hills was developed as one of Ann Arbors most selective organized residential locations where one can find quiet privacy of the country with the added convenience of being just seconds from downtown.
Development began between 1995-1997 by Guenther Building Company cultivating this Ann Arbor subdivision features 189 ranch and 2 story homes. Guenther Homes goal in Arbor Hills was to fully integrate the experience in neighborhood building into the unique characteristics of each area. The main focus being a neighborhood rather than a development.
With nearly 70 years of experience, and a well-established track record, the goal has always been to grow unique communities completely tied to their surroundings. Take a look at any of our past work, and you will see what we mean.
Guenther Homes developed Arbor Hills as one of Ann Arbors most selective residential locations where one can find quiet privacy of the country plus the convenience of being a few minutes from downtown.
The rolling hills accommodate this SHELBY design perfectly and it is extremely private due to the land backing up to wooded areas. It is a rare combination of land planning, city convenience and architectural details.
Arbor Hills Subdivision is situated on the northeast side of Ann Arbor, off Green Road just east of Nixon and located close to restaurants, shopping centers, post office, library, hospitals, and M-14 and US-23 expressways. Just minutes away is the University of Michigan and downtown Ann Arbor.

An original configuration of The SHELBY from Guenther Homes Arbor Hills archives.
Guenther Homes was started by Reuben Guenther back in 1946. Reuben's commitment to quality and customer service anchored the company's philosophy and mission. Reuben believed in quality construction and a close working relationship with his customers. These ideals were passed down to Reuben's son, who grew the company by proudly upholding these impeccable standards of excellence.
Reuben’s son Robert took over in 1963, and by this time he'd already accumulated years of experience as a laborer and a carpenter. Robert Guenther's success is directly attributable to the fact that he knows home building from all levels. Now, the business has passed to the third generation: Natalie Ceccolini and Rob Guenther.
